Neil works as a NASA contractor, so he’s probably someplace near Houston, or Cape Canaveral, or Greenbelt (Maryland). Except that Jean went surfing the other day, which kind of rules out Houston or Greenbelt. Not sure how much surfing is done near KSFC in Florida.

Of course, Melvin could be _anywhere_, since Jean arrived by *POOF* transport. Neil’s been to London, Paris, and the mall today, and it isn’t even lunchtime yet. (Wonder if he gets Frequent POOFer Miles.)

Looks like someone found there way into the page I use to manage which image is set as the Header image.

Not to worry, I’ve added password protection to it now. The header image should be ‘Pre-teen Jeanie’

I agree with Jim. Her skintone is off a bit. Also, in the 2nd panel, her face is a bit ….. off. I think its the sunken cheeks.

I actually like the idea of Jeane/Jeannie become successful as a teacher, though only a substitute teacher. I think she is on to bigger and better things. Also, if she becomes a teacher things might get boring.

I think the “whatever” (“girlfriends or boyfriends or … whatever”) is short for “girlfriends who used to be boys, or boyfriends who used to be girls.” For some reason, Jean realizes that even in this small junior-high classroom, sex-changed [...]friends are a possibility.
