I Dream of Another Jeanie Bottle 2
Anne, honey… You really gotta be more careful around magical artifacts! 🙂
By the way, you guys might want to go check out CD Rudd’s Patreon. There have been a number of new public posts made there recently, which I think you’ll enjoy.
Well I suppose that would explain the banner of Anne as a genie in the previous comic….
Yelp, that why the banner has Anne as a genie in it. I alluded to it last week when I said nope Genie in it. I think there is now though.
Well agent Anderson you keep running into problems but your a fighter. so you will be alright
Anne? Did Anderson change his name?
Yep. Quite a while back. First name, anyway.
It probably got a little awkward introducing herself as “Ralph”.
In which strip?
And true, but Anderson does seem to think of themselves as a man. Then again, he is still trying to change back.
@Jack:
This strip : https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-343-2
I think she’s trying but “nothing is so permanent as a temporary”, and she changed her name until her problem would be solved.
@Anonoff
Unless she introduced herself as Agent Anderson which Jeannie took to be Agent Anne Derson
@Fearless Ferret:
Cute idea, and I like the punny aspect, but Jeannie actually verified that Anderson is indeed now going by “Anne”:
J: “Maybe I’ll see you on the beach again… it was Anne, right?”
A: “See you, Jeannie.”
@Kattgirl
I did see that, but Agent “Anne” never actually confirmed that was her name 🙂
@Fearless Ferret:
She didn’t have to. The only way Jeannie could have arrived at that particular name is if Anderson had told her. The fact that Anderson didn’t bother to correct her, but just said “See you”, is confirmation enough. As the old saying goes, “Silence gives assent.”
Well, at least Anne will have a prettier bottle than Jean or Araceli.
At least, as long as it survives getting dropped…
Araceli’s bottle survived in the ocean for however long it was down there. This one ought to be fine.
Yes, they didn’t say how long it was in the sea, but, Araceli did say something about the tower of England and rack that she put Neil on. So that would put the time that Araceli was in the bottle two to three hundred years ago or longer. By the time that Araceli got Neil to the rack, it was already a tourist attraction open to the public.
I suppose those bottles are magical artifacts and will survive being dropped from orbit.
@He Who Abides:
Once the bottle is on the bottom, and away from other objects, it has a decent chance of survival. The problem lies in getting to that point. I’ve seen a LOT of glass bottles in shipwrecks, and very few are totally intact. (The shards seem to live on forever, though.)
Of course, as hkmaly pointed out above, genie magic could easily influence the natural course of events (although totems are still not totally indestructible, as the Blue Djinn proved.)
“I could remove that curse.” “What curse?”
I’m still hoping we’ll eventually get to see if Anderson interacting with his family.
can’t think of the site by name but art style remind me of this one genie site I seen on Deviantart. maybe I’ll genies from the two comic strips will meet up some time
